Community ecology at Goucher College
I am interested in what causes species interactions to vary across space. I have previously looked at how plant-plant interactions are affected by variation in the environment, environmental changes such as sea-level rise, interactions with other species, and variation within plant species. At Goucher College, I’m now continuing to work on how intraspecific variation affects plant-plant and plant-consumer interactions, and I’m trying to understand how important intraspecific diversity is relative to other factors that are known to be ecologically impactful.
Any Goucher students interested in doing ecology research should get in touch!
